 About Us
Olds has had a paper for more than 100 years with the Leatherdale family owning it for more than 50 years. The Mountain View Gazette was established in 2005 by Great West Publishing, a combination of the former Mountain View County News and Olds Gazette. It is a free distribution newspaper with a circulation of 20,000 serving Mountain View County, and extending into the counties of Red Deer, Clearwater, Kneehill and the M.D. of Rockyview. Other newspapers published by Mountain View Publishing include the Carstairs Courier, Didsbury Review, Innisfail Province, Olds Albertan, and the Sundre Round Up.
