If you can read this letter, read the recycling bin directions

Tuesday, Oct 25, 2011 06:00 am

To the people – and you know who you are – the recycling bins at the Eagle Hill Community are only for what it says on the dumpsters. Not garbage. But maybe you cannot read, so you won’t be able to read this write-up.

Some people are leaving TVs, computers, broken toilets, empty paint tins (that do not belong in the empty food can dumpster). This garbage or recyclable stuff is not charged for at the Mountain View Regional Waste Commission Ecosite. You go into their office and ask what is recycled and what is garbage and they will tell you where to place it. Some of these items ruin our environment if left to sit where you put them. So please clean it up. It is illegal to dump garbage on other’s property.
