Combs deserves gun club's special thanks

In reading the letter from Dennis Combs thanking all those who helped bring the MVMA gun club back to life (Gun club back in local hands, Dec. 13) there is one name not mentioned that deserves a special thank you. That name is Dennis Combs. Without his continual efforts over the past several decades the club would not have been the fine facility it has been and without his recent efforts would likely have disappeared. With the efforts of Dennis, other local supporters and the new local executive the club now at least has a chance of being revived.
